DETERMINATION OF THE TYPE AND LENGTH OF THE BOOM IS BASED ON A LIGHT FLUX CALCULATION FOR THE PARTICULAR PEDESTRIAN CROSSING. THE TYPE OF THE MAST AND ITS CARRYING CAPACITY IS THEN BASED ON THE LENGTH OF THE BOOM.
MASTS WITH DOUBLE-ARM BOOMS ARE INSTALLED ON SPLIT CROSSINGS.
The OSVP and OSPP masts with their respective booms can be equipped with lighting fittings (possibly together with traffic signs, flashing lights, etc.) with total max. weight of 30kg and total coefficient of aerodynamic resistance max. 0.5 m2. Maximum loadings are verified by authorised static assessments.
