The historical mast called “Prague” is cast from grey cast iron and fixed with three  screws to an anchoring base. The building kit systems make it possible to install one, two, three or four historical “SISI“ or “JUDITH“ lamps that can also be supplied as gas lights. The lanterns are mounted on a 600 mm long arm.The surface of the mast is trea- ted with a synthetic or powder paint in shades as required by the customer, but dark green (RAL 6009) is the most common. In the bottom wider part of the mast is a space cover by a door for installing the required electrical equipment. A casting of the city emblem can be placed on the door if the customer so wishes.

This version of the historical mast was the most widespread throughout the territory of Prague. To get an idea, in 1847 there were about 200 lighting points quickly followed by more.Currently these masts, in com- bination with gas lanterns, have been installed on the Royal Route in Prague, which begins at the Powder Gate and runs through Celetná Street, the Old Town Square, Karlova (Charles) Street and Charles Bridge, then through Mostecká (Bridge) Street to Malostranské náměstí (Little Quarter Square) and Neruda Street to Prague Castle and Hradčanské náměstí (Hradčany Square). A total of 678 gas lamps have been installed in Prague at the end of 2015. It is also planned to install gas lighting in Kampa Park.
